Guides to the California trout planting schedule

Short explanations of the schedule this site mirrors. Each one says where its facts come from: this site's own record, or a California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) page that was read on 2026-10-21.

• How to read the schedule Weeks, waters, counties and regions, and what a blank week means.
• Scheduled vs. confirmed Why every entry is scheduled, not confirmed, and what can change.
• What is a trout plant? What a plant is, and the temperature and flow limits CDFW sets.
